Numerous appearance changes are underway for the Weather app.

If you use the Google Weather app to get the weather forecast on your Android device, you realize that Google hasn’t updated this app for a long time. Fortunately, that will change as the company makes various design changes to the app.

Google’s redesigned weather app for Android is coming soon

According to a 9to5Google report , Google is making various design changes to its Weather app. This includes preparing the Material theme for the app and making sure it blends well with other modern elements.

Although Google has made several design changes to the app, the basic functionality remains the same.

New design changes in the Weather app

You will see a lot of redesigned elements in the new Weather app.

The search bar at the top now has rounded corners. The Today, Tomorrow, and 10 Days tabs have also received a design overhaul.

Your profile icon has replaced the standard menu option at the top. This menu now reveals your profile and the options for adding the app to your home screen.

These changes are currently only available in the beta version of Research. Stable version users will have to wait a while to get their hands on the new updated Weather app.
